Devozioni Domestiche, a quotation from the book of verses by Bertolt Brecht, Manual of Piety, is the starting idea for a group exhibition. “Domestic piety” stays for all those insignificant daily rituals, the act of observing what seems to be not that much worthy, the intimate dimension of being by yourself, of thinking, working and of sharpening your own perception. Through the works of students and former students of the Venice academy, who are already in the professional art world with projects in both Italian and international public and private venues, the exhibition aims to investigate the everyday life, its uncertain condition opened to the “angelic” Visitation of what has yet to come.
